Do not move a suspect probe onto another port “to see,” and do not move it onto another machine, until you know you are not spreading a connector fault or a contaminated probe. If a port is damaged, tag it. The manual is how you confirm the port layout and the replacement. Match the software level on the cart to the procedure before you load anything.
